good home needed for bad dog...

According to this guy. Jack did it.

Meet Jack and his mess.

And I quote..."Jack was looking for food and he only eats dog food"
If Jack keeps that up then he'll have to become an outdoor dog. Somehow I have a feeling that this guy will soon be taking the blame and he'll be putting it back on Jack in no time!

Tuesday's to-do list...

Oh how I LOVE to check things off a list.
Today I got to cross off so many things!
*Organize garage
*Clean off patio
*plant flowers
*Stain furniture
*Start planting garden

I even managed to get the house picked up and kids bathed so I'm feelin like superwoman!
I mentioned to Solar that I was turning into my dad. She called as I was walking the yard to check out my accomplishments. Does anyone else go back and admire your work?

Check out Riley's garden. He LOVES tomatoes and will eat them like apples so he planted his own today. We decided to paint the pail after they were planted. I'll have to post an update when they get bigger.

Caden 18 weeks

Caden was pretty disgruntled today and Elmo was not pleasing him!

I tried swinging him big...NOPE! He wasn't having it.
That just made him mad as a hornet!

I finally introduced him to the super large bouncy seat that needs a room of its own.
He wasn't quite as impressed with it as Riley was.

In fact, he was over it in about 2 seconds.

Finally, Miss USA came on TV and he was a HAPPY CAMPER!

I couldn't even lure him away from the wishers of world peace with food!

Then Donald Trump started talking and he lost interest.

That sums up our day. How was yours?

Spring time!

Well, none of us won the washer/dryer set and I'm sure you are tired of looking at it so I'll give you a quick update. It's that time of year when the tool woman likes to get all the dirt off of her yard toys and work in the yard. I love it, but there are always glitches for the first time run of yard equipment. The weed eater runs out of line, the lawn mower has a flat, the edger won't start, the gas/oil mixture needs refilling.
I think Riley summed it up best when he said "Not now, Caden! We've got diggin to do"
I've been mowing, mulching, weeding, spraying, digging, and planting. The weather has been so great we've been outside instead of in the kitchen. We'll work healthier eating back in our diets next week. The Easter Bunny dropped off a ridiculous amount of candy at our house. I'm pretty sure the toddler fixed his own candy breakfast the other day. I don't want to wrongly accuse, but there was a stool in front of the candy jar and a wrapper trail leading directly to the chair where he was sitting.
It was so much so that I had to vacuum them up. I just considered him fed and we went outside. :)
Happy Friday from a toddler who apparently slept in penguin slippers!

And from a baby having a bad patch of a hair day.

Easter Bunny

Is it just me or is this Easter Bunny kind of creepy looking? We didn't stick around long enough to get all those questions answered. I think the bunny must have scared all the kids away because he/she waved us over from a far! There was NO WAITING.

Here comes Peter Cottontail..

Does anyone know the answers to these toddler questions?

1. Does the Easter Bunny drive a car?
2. Does the Easter Bunny see Santa Claus?
3. Does the Easter Bunny have a red nose?
4. Is the Easter Bunny coming to my house?.
5. Can we see the Easter Bunny?
6 Can the Easter Bunny go in our car?
7. Is he 3 years old?
8. Does the Easter Bunny have hot chocolate?
9. And finally...a statement. "The Easter Bunny has you snacks"

We are on a mission to find out the answers and I think I know just where to go!
