I have been guilty of neglecting the blog lately. The Wild Thing has been especially challenging lately so instead of blogging all I've wanted to do at night is hit the sack! I'm behind on your blogs, but I will be catching up soon.

*He's really good on the beam! He can walk side ways, backwards, and do a roll (with some spotting, of course.)
I've joined some other moms and once a week we've been going to a gym for the kids. The Wild Thing has learned some tricks and to walk on a beam. I'll be honest here. It hasn't been all that fun for me. He's been a real handful so I guess it's just part of the season we are in right now. He's not interested AT ALL in the group activities on the mat so I usually walk around in a circle singing the Wheels on the bus with the other moms and kids while mine is making a mad dash to the bathroom, storage closet, or exit doors. I'm burning all kinds of calories chasing him for the hour.
He's also into pushing and throwing. I had a near melt down when he almost hit another child with some hand bells. One of my friends recommended the book 1,2,3 Magic so I've been reading it. I'm not sure I believe everything it says, but I'm willing to try it. I almost quit the class, but I think he needs the interaction and he did get slightly better last week when I quit chasing him so much.

*This picture cracks me up! He's friend J followed him off the mat, but look at him standing back watching. He's not sure he wants to join in the trouble of getting the balls out of the closet. Too funny!!
I sure hope the Wild Thing will start being nice to these kids sooner rather than later. They are such a good group of kids. I know it's just a phase, but it's never easy seeing your kid acting up when the others are being so good. UGH!
